Other Things To Do
At this point we have only visited Sun Peaks in the winter and our focus has been on downhill skiing, with a little shinny hockey mixed in. However, there is a lot to do that is off the slopes. And spring, summer, and fall look beautiful with lots of great outdoor activities. Here is some information about things we have done and yet to do. A lot of the references below are from the Sun Peaks Resort website, which is a great resource.
Winter is coming...

Hockey and Skating
For those who like skating and/or hockey, there is a brand new NHL-size outdoor covered rink literally right across the street from our place. It is awesome. For more information on the schedule and pricing, check the Skating Rink page on the Sun Peaks website.

Snow Tubing
The Tube Park provides a great activity for the kids for apres ski or if you decide to do something a little different during the day. Our kids had a blast doing this while the grown ups have apres ski at one of the many great establishments at Sun Peaks.

Nordic Skiing
While we don't cross country ski, based on what we have seen the options and trails at Sun Peaks are pretty amazing. Check out the Sun Peaks - Explore Nordic Skiing pages for more information.

Fat Tire Biking, Snowshoeing, & Other Winter Pasttimes
The list of things to do in the winter at Sun Peaks seems endless. Check out the Winter Activities page on the Sun Peaks website for more ideas and information.
Winter is gone...

Golf
Honestly, we cannot wait to get here during golf season as it looks awesome - Explore Golf. The course is beautiful and well-maintained.

Mountain Biking
Mountain Biking looks pretty rad (dating the age of the author here with that word, I am sure) and there are other biking options. The daily rate allows unlimited use, so lots of biking to be done up and down the mountain. Check it out here.

Hiking
As you can imagine from the background photo on this page, the hiking is bound to be stunning. The hiking has something to offer for all ages. You can hike trails on your own from the Village (e.g. on the Valley Trail) or go up the Sunburst Chair to access trails across the mountain such as the Vista and Crystal Bowl. Afterwards you can enjoy the apres-hike/bike scene on a patio in the Village.

Fly fishing and so much more...
We have yet to explore these offerings, but don't let that hold you back! Check out the Summer Activities on the Sun Peaks website.
